IS 458 certified NP4 class extra heavy-duty RCC hume pipe for major highway culverts, railway crossings and high-load buried applications. Maximum wall thickness and load capacity.
Himalaya RCC Hume Pipe NP4 is the highest load class under IS 458, engineered for applications where exceptional external loads from major highways, railway lines or deep burial conditions demand maximum structural performance. The significantly heavier wall section and M35–M40 grade concrete provide resistance to soil overburden and heavy axle loads far beyond the capacity of NP2 or NP3 class pipes. NP4 pipes are mandatory for culverts under NHAI national highways, railway embankments and any crossing where IRC and MORTH load specifications demand the highest performance class. Available in larger diameters up to 2200mm to handle major stormwater volumes in large-scale infrastructure projects. The spigot-and-socket rubber ring joint system maintains watertightness under the elevated pressures associated with deep installation.
