FRP manhole covers weigh roughly a third of an equivalent cast iron cover, which cuts installation time and removes the need for lifting equipment on site. They do not rust, they are non-conductive, and because FRP has no scrap value they are effectively theft proof - a significant advantage on public roads where cast iron covers are routinely stolen. Over a 20-year horizon the total cost of ownership is usually lower despite a comparable purchase price.
We manufacture the full BS EN 124:2015 range - A15 (1.5 tonne) for pedestrian areas, B125 (12.5 tonne) for car parks and footpaths, C250 (25 tonne) for kerbside gully positions, D400 (40 tonne) for carriageways, E600 (60 tonne) for docks and industrial yards, and F900 (90 tonne) for airport aprons and heavy dock areas. We regularly produce non-standard rectangular and multi-part covers for metro, airport and industrial clients.
Standard sizes held in stock typically dispatch within 3 to 7 working days. Custom-moulded items usually take 2 to 4 weeks depending on tooling and order quantity. With 800+ sets per day production capacity we are able to meet large bulk requirements on committed project schedules.
Yes. We supply pan-India from our Ahmedabad manufacturing facility and have delivered to more than 25 cities including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Surat, Jaipur and Kolkata. Because FRP covers are light, freight cost per unit is substantially lower than cast iron.
Yes. Our FRP covers are certified to BS EN 124:2015 and we are an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer. Load testing is carried out in our in-house laboratory and test certificates plus QA documentation are supplied with every consignment.
Every consignment ships with batch-wise test certificates and QA records. Technical drawings, load test reports, material data sheets and the BS EN 124:2015 certificate can be shared at the specification stage - just request them when you contact our team.
There is no rigid minimum for standard catalogue sizes. For custom-moulded items a minimum quantity applies to justify tooling, which our team will confirm along with your quotation. Bulk and rate-contract pricing is available for municipal and large infrastructure orders.
